A new Outline Audio MiniCOM.P.A.S.S system has ensured that live performance, playback and speech reinforcement have all been greatly improved. Twelve MiniCOM.P.A.S.S cabinets have been ceiling suspended in LR configurations and supplemented by a two per side Subtech 218SP subwoofer system, while delays are provided by Outline DVS12 speakers. Array configurations were determined using Outline Diva software, and this modeling helped to determine the eventual speaker positions chosen by Melodia systems engineer Budihardjo Sutanto and his team. In addition, Melodia Sound & Lighting System’s supplied Outline H.A.R.D 115SP stage monitors together with YAMAHA PM5D and IM8 consoles for FOH and monitors respectively.

더구나 뉴질랜드와 유럽의 슬랭들이 많이 나오기 때문에.. 미주권 친구들도 일부 슬랭들은 못알아 듣더라는.. ㅋㅋ 나중에 연극 마치고 Craig와 그의 친구 Jamie와 VIN VINO옆에 있는 커피베네에서 차한잔 하면서 연극에 대한 이야기를 했고 나는 몇마디만 던질 수 있었다.
'거 슬랭이었니?' '이 작품을 전부다 이해하려면 100번은 봐야 알 것 같아..'라며 새초롬해하자 미국에서 온 Jamie가 나를 위로해준다. '난 네이티브인데도 다 못알아 들었어.. 이상한 슬랭을 많이 써서 알 수가 있어야지! 스투핏 키위~'라며 Craig에게 장난친다.
정말 재미있었던 시간.. 알아듣긴 어려웠으나.. ㅋㅋ 그리고 정말 즐거웠던건 하하~ 드디어 여자네이티브를 만났다는 것이다. 왜 한국에서는 여자 네이티브랑 친구하기가 이렇게 어려운겐지.......... ㅠ.ㅠ Jamie를 만나서 ㅋㅋ 즐거운 대화.. 맛나는 대화 즐거웠음! ^^

기억들 하시나용? 지난9일에 OPIc 시험 봤었던거.. 시험보고 크허~~~~~~ 이런이런! 했었고, 사실 마음을 비우고 있었더랬음.. 왜? 넘.. 형편없이 대답을 하고 나온 것 같아서 마음 비우고 그냥 결과나 보자......... 하고 사이트 열어 확인했는데 어라..... 멍미?
OPI는 총 10까지의 레벨이 있으나 한국에서는 총 7단계까지 점수를 받을 수 있고, 그 이상은 한국에서 받을 수 없습니다. OPIc의 6째 단계 INTERMEDIATE HIGH까지는 시험장에서 시험을 치르고 ADVANCED LOW는 별도로 인터뷰 시험을 치르게 됩니다.
INTERMEDIATE HIGH-ENGLISH가 떡하니 찍혀있다. 이거 잘못된거 아닌가 하고.. 몇번을 다시 확인했으나.. 맞네? 이거 뭐지? ㅠ.ㅠ 내 눈을 의심하며 CERTIFICATION을 출력하여 지금도 내 손에 쥐고 있으나.. 이것이 맞는 것인지 의심하고 있는 1인.. 되겠습니다. ^^; ㅋㅋ

1999년 처음으로 내 홈페이지를 갖게되었을 때의 기쁨도 잠시..
HTML의 압박감을 도저히 감당 할 수 없어 결국 홈페이지에 대해 깊히 고민할 무렵 잠시 네이버 블로그에 빠져있던 나는 블로그에 결국 발을 붙이지 못했다. 그리고.. 티스토리를 알게 되었으니.. 이것은 내 개인사에 기록될 만한 사건(응?)이라고 하지 않을 수가 없다.
음향인들이 종종 정보를 찾으러 소리사랑닷컴을 찾아 온다는 사실을 몰랐다면 모를까.. 그리고 내 10년이 넘는 기록들을.. 깡그리 지워버릴 수 있다는 자신이 없는한.. 나는 좀더 편리한 플랫폼의 공간이 필요했던 것이고, 티스토리와 난느 그렇게 연이 시작되었다.
티스토리로 옮기고.. 사실 아쉬움이 수도없이 많았지만.. 조금씩 변화해 가는게.......... 좋았단 말씀!!! ^^

벌써 금요일이네요.. 한주가 참 빨리도 갑니다. 원래 10일이 항공권 마감일 이었지만.. 진행하는 프로젝트 아직도 결정이 나지 않아서 결국 항공권 구입을 못했네요.. 이태리 배낭여행에 한껏 부풀어 있었는데.. 김이 쬐금씩 새고 있네요.. ㅠ.ㅠ 음.. 얼른 프로젝트 결과가 나와서 일정 재조정을 하던지 항공권 구매를 하던지.. 했음 좋겠습니다.
아직은 시험으로부터 자유하지 못하기 까지한 지금.. 주말이 완전 자유할 수는 없겠죠..? 이번 주말에는.. 야구장가서 실컷 소리도 맘껏 지르고 스트레스도 풀고.. 야구관람이 하고 싶지만, 이번주, 다음주까지는 쭉.. 해야할 과제물이 너무나도 많은게 탈이네요..
이리저리 치이는 스케줄 때문에 가끔은.. 대학원 등록금으로 차라리 여행을 갔어도 3년은 다녔겠다.. 라는 생각이 들어 가슴 한쪽이 가끔은 먹먹해 지기도 하지만, 더 나은 미래를 위한 투자라 생각하고 즐겁게 하자.. 다시 마음 도닥여 봅니다.
아침에 집에서 나가는 시간은 5시 40분.. 환하게 창을 뚫고 들어오는 햇볕에 맨날 속고 얇게 입고 나와서 후회하는 날들의 연속이네요.. 어제 빼고.. ^^; 왜이렇게 아침마다 겨울같은 날씨가 지속되는건지 모르겠네요. 몸이 허한건가.. 싶은 생각이 문득 엄습하자.. 스스로가 민망해집니다.
내일은 과제물을 하고 4시반부터 이태원에서 Craig가 디렉터를 맡은 연극을 보러 갑니다. 참 멋진 친구입니다. 고국을 떠나 낯선나라에서 본인의 꿈을 절대로 놓지 않고 열심히 살아가는 Craig를 보며 늘 도전 받는 친구입니다. 늘 서로에게 기분좋은 자극을 주는 참 좋은 친구사이.. Craig같은 친구가 있어 참 좋습니다. 오늘은 학교를 가야하지만, 주말이네요.. 즐거운 일들로 채울 수 있는 순간순간들이었음 하는 바램입니다.. *^^*
왜 그러냐고 물어보시면.. 딱히 할말은 없어요.
열심히 잘 살아가다가도 가끔씩은 먼.. 산 바라보며 멍때리기 일수고, 칠렐레 팔렐레 그렇게 있다가도 갑자기 찾아오는 공허함이 내 마음을 강타하는 날이 있기도 한거예요.
가끔 생각해요. 하나님을 나를 너무나도 사랑하시는 것 같은데.. 그렇다고 생각하고 살았는데.. 가끔은 정말 나에게 필요한 것들은 주지 않으신다는 생각이요. 참.. 고약하시다는 생각이 들때도 있어요. 내가 못되먹은거겠죠.. 필요하지 않거나, 나에게 해가될 만한 것들을 주지 않으시는 것일텐데.. 왜이렇게 욕심이 많은건지..
요즘 새벽날씨는..
그냥 추워요.. 어떻게든 밝고 힘차게 살아보겠노라.. 참 부던히도 노력하며 살아온 것 같은데.. 여전히 나를 힘들게 하는 것은, 역시 나 자신인 것 같아요. 그래도 전체중에 10%이내의 우울한 기운과 고민이 잠재해 있다고 느껴지니 참으로 다행이예요. 그외엔.. 늘 에너지 넘치고 베시시 칠렐레 팔렐레이니까요..
근데..
요즘들어 부쩍.. 내가 뭐 즐기고 있는거지? 라는 생각이 문들 떠올라 나를 무섭게 해요.. 못된 생각 꺼져버렷!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >_<

19세기와 20세기 초반 미국의 서부 개척 시대에는 동네를 유랑하던 서커스단들이 활성화된 시기였다. 서커스에서 보여주는 여러 쇼 중에서도 사람들의 인기를 얻은 것은 개나 말 등을 이용한 동물쇼(dog and pony show)였다. 영화나 연극, TV 조차도 없던 시절에 이런 동물쇼는 관심의 대상이 될 만한 볼거리였던 것이다. 20세기 후반 들어, TV가 보급되면서 이런 쇼들은 사양길을 걷게 되었고, 개나 조랑말을 이용한 dog and pony show의 의미도 점차 바뀌기 시작했다. dog and pony show는 제품이나 회사의 마케팅이나 홍보를 위한 요란한 활동을 의미하게 되었다.
dog and pony show는 주변에서도 쉽게 접할 수 있다. 제품 홍보를 위해 술병 모양의 옷을 입고 시선을 끌거나, 가게 오픈을 알리기 위해 선정적인 옷을 입은 도우미들이 화려한 춤을 추는 것도 일종의 dog and pony show이다. 하지만, 이 표현은 요란한 마케팅을 비하하는 표현이므로 주의해서 사용해야 한다.
비슷한 의미의 단어로 medicine show도 있다. 우리말의 '약장사'와 마찬가지로 잘못 사용하면 한 대 얻어 맞을 만한 표현이다. 미국 서부 시대에는 마차를 끌고 이 마을 저 마을로 돌아다니며, 직접(?) 조제한 뱀 기름(snake oil)과 같은 약품을 판매하는 사람들이 많았다. 이들은 평소에는 볼 수 없던 서커스, 마술, 기괴한 쇼 등을 하며 사람들의 이목을 끌어들인 다음, 약을 판매했다. medicine show는 사라졌지만, snake oil은 지금까지도 가짜약, 허풍이란 의미로 사용되고 있다.

7. "왜"는 언제나 존재하기 마련이며 우리들 모두는 흔히 "그것" 뒤에 있는 "왜"를 배움으로써 더욱 많은 이점들을 얻을 수 있다.
6. 공연장 여기저기를 걸어 다니며너 이곳 저곳의 좌석에서 소리를 들어보았나? 아니라면 자기 자신을 바보로 만들고 있을지도 모르겠다. .. 그렇지만 쇼가 시작되기 전에 커버리지와 하우스 위치에서의 소리를 완전히 준비시켜 놓아야만 한다. 청중들은 당연히 그렇게 기대할 것이다.
5. 도구 말이 나왔으니 말인데, 미터, 깜박거리는 전구들, 삼색의 LED, 플라즈마 디스플레이 그리고 오디오 정보를 비디로 데이터로 측정, 표시, 추정하는 온갖 종류의 기능들로 무장한 장비들이 수 없이 많이 출시되었다. 믹스는 눈 가지고 하나? .. 장비의 소리를 들어보지 않고는 필요 시 실제로 이 장비가 어떻게 작동할지 알 수 있는 방도는 없다.
4. 진정한 프로에의해 사용된 보통의 도구들은 삼류 엔지니어의 손에 쥐어진 세상에서 최고의 도구들보다 항상 더 우수한 결과를 만들어 낸다.
3. 깨끗이 라벨을 붙이고 시스템에 대해 가능한 정확한 자료들을 준비해 두는 것이 가장 좋은 방법이라는 점이다. 콜솔의 레이아웃, 이펙트 랙, 드라이브 랙, 라우드스피커 배선 등은 합리적으로 설계 및 구성되어 적절한 지식을 가진 누구라도 사용법을 알 수 있도록 해야 한다.
2. 무슨일이 있어도 발생할 문제들과 당신의 주목을 요구하는 동료들과 고객들에게 눈과 귀가 열려있어야만 한다. 가능한 언제 어디서라도 도움을 줄 수 있는 바람직한 스태프가 되어야 한다. .. "내가 맡은 장비 연결은 다 끝냈으니 여기 앉아서 저지방 저칼로리 모카치노를 마셔야지"란 해이한 태도로는 그리 오래 일할 수 없다.

그저.. 뽀송뽀송한 여유가 그리운 거겠지요.. 그렇게 생각해요. 들쑥날쑥.. 언제나 정신없이 보내는 시간들이지만, 그 안에 나만의 정신없음과 공존하는 규칙성이 있어요. 그게 날 가끔은 피식 웃게 만들기도 해요.

황정민의 맛깔나는 연기.. 그리고 이준익 감독의 독특한 해학.. 표현이 참으로 재미있었다.
영화가 와~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 막~~~~~~~~~~재미있다는 아니었지만, 대사 하나하나 칠때의 그 표현과 표정등이 아주 예술이었다는 것.. 다시 한번 느낀 것은 역시 황정민.. 배우다..
